Gatsby

After reading this quote I think that Gatsby is being selfish and brave. He has a lot of nerve to want Daisy to tell Tom "I never loved you." Gatsby is still in love with Daisy and always will be. They definitely had something special. In November it will be 5 years since they have been seperated. All Gatsby ever thinks about is Daisy. He is in love with every little thing about her. He wants her all to himself. He does not want her with Tom anymore. I think that Gatsby is very hurt and jealous that she is still with Tom, even though Tom is cheating on her. It's really hard to for him to move on because he is still holding onto the past. I think that Gatsby would treat Daisy right and would respect her a lot more than Tom. She deserves to be treated right and Gatsby would do a great job.

I honestly think that Gatsby is going to succeed his dream. They obviously still had the chemistry when they were reunited. I think Daisy and Gatsby would have a strong relationship. All they have to do is pick up where they left off. I feel that Tom is in for a rude awakening. Daisy shouldn't have to put up with his stuff anymore; he is capable of being on his own. Once Daisy finds out that Tom's cheating on her she is going to leave him, and hopefully rekindle the flame between her and Gatsby.
